Once a phrase that we thought was just something someone made up but in reality, we can see it in front of our eyes.
Elon Musk, Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg have created history with their products, and services.
But lately, we’ve seen their rivalry grow and spread to new heights.
So what’s the deal between these business titans?

Elon Musk vs Bill Gates:
Elon Musk and Bill Gates are entrepreneurs and dreamers. Their inventions have changed the world in more ways than you can imagine.
However, they have disagreements regarding science, technology and so much more.
The start of all this was during the Covid 19 period when things became quite tense between the 2 titans of industry. They were both involved in the fight against the coronavirus at the time.
Gates pledged hundreds of millions of dollars to fight the virus, while Musk worked to source and produce ventilators. Mus had also teamed up with German biotech firm CureVac to make devices that would aid in vaccine production.
However, Gates and Musk disagreed on several ideologies behind the coronavirus and its severity as well. While Musk was doubtful about the validity of the coronavirus death data, Gates took issue with Musk’s behavior regarding the virus.
While space exploration – specifically, colonizing Mars – is a main focus of Musk’s, Gates isn’t impressed.Gates stated on a New York Times podcast in early 2021 that, while he may be missing something, he is “not a Mars person.” “I don’t believe rockets are the answer.” He also stated that he would prefer to spend his money on vaccines on Earth than on space flight.
Following this, there have been several issues concerning science, technology, space exploration and so much more they don’t see eye to eye on. To this day, the rivalry continues.
Mark Zuckerberg vs Elon musk:
The conflict began in September 2016 when a cooperation between the two billionaires went up in flames, literally, when Zuckerberg’s $200 million satellite detonated during a pre-launch test on one of Musk’s SpaceX rockets.
Following the explosion, Zuckerberg said on Facebook that he was “deeply disappointed” that “SpaceX’s launch failure destroyed our satellite.”
The feud began and it has led to a lot of controversies today
One of the most prominent areas of disagreement between Musk and Zuckerberg is the future of artificial intelligence (AI). Musk has been vocal about his concerns regarding the potential dangers of advanced AI, famously stating that AI poses a “fundamental risk to the existence of human civilization.” He co-founded OpenAI to ensure that AI technologies are developed safely and responsibly.
On the other hand, Zuckerberg has maintained a more optimistic view of AI. He envisions a future where AI-powered systems enhance human lives, from improving healthcare to aiding in disaster response. Zuckerberg’s perspective aligns with his focus on developing AI technologies through Facebook’s initiatives, such as advancements in virtual reality and augmented reality.
While Musk is on the verge of winning the space race and colonizing Mars, Mark Zuckerberg has been having plans to make the internet more accessible.
This feud and disagreement between both companies erupted into a new horizon when Meta launched their new product thread that has several similarities towards Elon Musk’s X previously known as Twitter. A legal battle ensued and surprisingly Meta also retaliated saying that ‘X’ has been copyrighted. Even Microsoft joined in on the phone as ‘X box’ one of their premier consoles and also ‘X’ as a significant part of its brand.
The feuds have gotten so ridiculous now, that Musk and Mark are ready to get into a cage match that would probably be streamed on X.
The feuds between these titans are somewhat intellectual and somewhat plain ridiculous, however, their strong opinions and rivalries have proved to be a driving force in development and innovation in the world.
