China ranks second among the largest economies in the world, and hence the world waits for its key economic indicators to be published. However, the bureau’s website did not present any data as scheduled previously. As per the early declaration, China was supposed to release the GDP growth for the third quarter this week. But the delay in this publication has made hundreds of people frown. Such postponement of the crucial economic data release is unusual for a country like China.
No elaborate details are available even after repeated inquiries to the National Bureau of Statistics officials. The most apparent reason for such delay seems to be the slow pattern in the growth and development of the nation after the COVID scenario. The scheduled date and time for the economic indicators release was Tuesday, 10 am. The Communist Party is the ruling party of China now, and the congress is currently happening. Such a special occasion comes only twice in a decade. Therefore, the citizens of China are engaged in the event entirely.
Knowing the country’s Per Capital Income is crucial, indicating that the GDP may expectedly experience a growth of around 3.4% in the third quarter of July to September, as compared to the growth statistics of previous quarter. As per the current notification, the GDP data will soon be released in October.
