Private Capex – Data Center – Amazon Acquires 38 Acres Near Mumbai for ₹450 Cr Data Center
Amazon India has acquired a 38.18-acre land parcel in Palava, near Mumbai, from Macrotech Developers (Lodha) for over ₹450 crore.
The acquisition is for developing a hyperscale data center.
Amazon Data Services India also gains access to a permissible floor space index for development potential of approximately 4.16 million sq. ft.
In 2022, Amazon acquired a 54-acre land parcel in Thane for over ₹1,870 crore to develop another hyperscale data center.
Amazon has planned investments of $12.7 billion in cloud infrastructure in India by 2030.
